Desert Biking Tour Along the Israeli National Bike Trail

3-Day Mountain Bike Tour in the most beautiful desert of Israel

Day 1 

Transit from Tel Aviv to Arad and riding from Arad to Masada. about 40 KM mostly single trail. This is part of the  segment of The Israeli National Bike Trail.

Day 2 

Sde Boker to Mitzpe Ramon. This segment, which begins at Midreshet Ben-Gurion and ends at Mitspe Ramon, is about 52 km long. Most of it was created with the assistance of Israel Bike Trail volunteers. The segment takes in breathtaking desert landscapes, World Heritage Sites, ancient agriculture and a varied human mosaic.

Day 3 

Mitzpe Ramon to Khan Beerot riding along the Makhtesh Ramon cliff overlooking the Makhtesh (Cater) and eventually riding down to the bottom of it. The trail is in part a section of the ancient Nabatean trade route, known as the 'Spice Route', that was recognized in 2005 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

About 37 KM a combination of single trails and 4x4. This is one of the nicest segments overlooking the unique phenomena of Makhtesh Ramon. We plan on spending the night in the same place as last night, Mitzpe Ramon.

We will provide you with pick up and drop off from Jerusalem or Tel Aviv, Rental of Hard-Tail Mountain bikes, guidance, support, logistics of personal belongings and technical assistance, coffee / snack/water breaks along the trails and cold beer at the end of each riding day. As well as picking up at the end of each riding day etc.
